Do your customers know all the services you offer or when you have new products? This might seem like a strange question, but as a Skin Care and Beauty/Image Consultant I recently found out that some of my customers did not know I offered a gift service because I have never offered it to them.
In addition to marketing the #1 selling brand of skin care and color cosmetics (independent survey results) , the company I represent has pampering products as well as a large number of supplements that are designed to address specific skin care concerns.
It's important for me to keep in mind that many of my customers do not use the internet so may not be aware of the services that are offered on my website like the Virtual Makeover, Gift Ideas, Tips and Trends, Beauty on a Budget, bridal services, etc. I enroll my customers in a quarterly catalog program, but with the demands on our time many people just scan through the catalogs and miss important information.
If you are in Direct Sales, I encourage you to make sure that your customers know about all of the services and products you offer. You can do this through keeping in touch with them regularly by phone, e-cards or regular greeting cards.
